L’Express published an article about lipomodelling, technique more and more used for breast reconstruction after breast cancer. Lipomodelling means that your own fat  is used to give your breast the volume lost after mastectomy and also allows scars to lessen / disappear.  Your breast will have a natural touch and visual, risks of complications are almost null and your breast will not have any foreign bodies (implants). 

L’Express mentions that one woman out of three only go for a a breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy, the reasons being “the fear of a new surgery and its complications, the fear to be disappointed, but also the lack of information about new techniques evolving quickly”. The articles also publishes a testimony of a patient who had a mastectomy, then a reconstruction with implant with complications who was offered a reconstruction with her own fat after implant removal. The patient said that for the first time she has the impression of having a breast.
